KARACHI: MQM body distributes goods

KARACHI, Jan 18: Khidmat-i-Khalq Foundation distributed goods worth hundreds of thousands of rupees among the deserving people in Lines Area. The goods comprised 100 sewing machines, 100 bicycles, 100 blankets , dowry for five girls, clothes, ration, wheel chairs for the handicapped and cash. KKF chief Shaikh Liaquat Hussain, Anwar Alam and others distributed the goods.

JI criticized: The MQM Rabita Committee has criticized Jamat-i- Islami for issuing statements against Shaista Almani. It asked the JI and other opposition political parties to raise the issue of human rights and karo kari in the Parliament they way they had been raising a hue and cry regarding the LFO.
