SANGHAR, Jan 18: The heirs of Hassan Solangi have agreed to pardon his killers after accepting blood money, reliable sources told this correspondent.

Mr Solangi was shot dead with his wife, Shazia Khaskheli, near here last year for marrying in a court against the will of her family. Some influential men of the area have helped the two parties strike the deal.

On Sunday Mir Hassan Khaskheli, the father of Shazia, with some relatives and notables, visited the Solangis at their house situated on the National Highway between Hala and Khandoo, to formally beg pardon for the killing.

Earlier, three accused including Chhutto Khaskheli had surrendered before the police and accepted the responsibility of killing the couple. The uncle of the girl, Hassan Khaskheli, was also arrested in this connection. However, no eyewitnesses has turned up at the court hearing the double murder case.
