TOBA TEK SINGH, Jan 14: A man and his sister-in-law were axed to death by his three brothers on suspicion at Chak 283-JB in Gojra area on Tuesday night.

Muhammad Azam had reportedly developed relations with Zubaida Bibi, the wife of his elder brother Akhtar Hussain. On Tuesday night, Akhtar found his wife sitting with his brother Azam. At this, he flared up and called his brothers Amjad Hussain and Muhammad Arif and together they axed to death both of them. Gojra Sadar police have arrested all three accused brothers.

KHANPUR: A man went berserk and killed his sister, wife and injured his mother for the sake of his honour at Mauza Sheikh Abdus Sattar, some 15kms from here on Wednesday.

APP reported that Ramzan attacked his wife Sughran Bibi with an axe when she was washing clothes at a water channel near the village. He also killed his sister Kulsoom when she rushed to save Sughran. Ramzan did not even spare his mother Mumtaz Mai and injured her also. She was shifted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Rahim Yar Khan, in precarious condition. The accused escaped from the scene.
