KARACHI: City projects reviewed

KARACHI, Jan 13: Chief Secretary Dr Mutawakkal Kazi has directed the DCO Karachi to ensure timely completion of the ongoing mega projects under city government's works and services department.

He issued the directive while going through the progress report in relation to FTC Flyover, Korangi Road scheme, Shahrah-i-Quaideen Flyover, rehabilitation and improvement project of Shaheed Sibghatullah Shah Road, dualization of Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road and establishment of IT university at Korangi Civic Centre-III.

The report, presented by EDO Works and Services Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui said the construction of FTC Flyover, started on July 9, 2002, would be completed on July 8, 2004 at a cost of Rs109.4 million. -APP
