SHEIKHUPURA: 3 held with 50kg hash

SHEIKHUPURA, Jan 2: An Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) team on Friday arrested three drug-traffickers, including a woman, with a huge quantity of hashish and sophisticated weapons near Chowk Pir Bahar Shah.

Riding a car (A-7510), the traffickers led by Akhtar were on their way to the town from tribal area via motorway.

The ANF team led by assistant director Sajeel Hyder intercepted the car near local Chowk Pir Bahar Shah. A thorough search yielded 40 packets of fine quality hashish weighing 50kg.

The ANF team also recovered sophisticated weapons hidden under the seats. The accused were taken to the ANF headquarters in Lahore for further investigation.
