Women urged to play role in economy

KARACHI, Jan 2: The women entrepreneurs have been asked to play their vital role towards strengthening of the country's economy.

The call to this effect was made by the vice-president of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Haroon Rashid, here on Friday.

He was addressing the members of the women entrepreneurs committee of the FPCCI at the Federation House. Mr Haroon asked them to come forward and play their vital role for uplifting the economy.

He was of the view that the members of Women Entrepreneur Committee of FPCCI had proved the potential of leadership on national and international level.

It was pointed out that the participation of women entrepreneurs in India International Trade Fair in New Delhi got great projection not only in local press and media but also in the Indian media.

Felicitating the women participants, the vice-president urged them to participate in more international trade fairs and exhibitions so that they could introduce themselves in the international market. -APP
