ABBOTTABAD, Aug 30: Director of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, Pakistan, Ingebarg Breines, said on Thursday that the organization will extend all possible help to promote and protect cultural heritage.
Speaking at a seminar on Pakistan archeology and museology at Bara Gali, she said Unesco took interest in the continuation of Moenjo Dero preservation.
She said Shalimar Garden, Lahore Fort and walled city of Peshawar were on the agenda of Unesco for a preservation project. The seminar has been organized by the department of archaeology and museums, Army Heritage Foundation and Ayub National Park.—Correspondent
