KARACHI: At a time when war threats are coming from the Eastern borders, writers have announced the holding of a literary sitting on Friday at the PMA House to remember noted poet Kaifi Azmi and to pay homage to the departed soul who, throughout his life, struggled for peace and unity between the two neighbouring countries — Pakistan and India.

Progressive Writers Association and Irteqa both, as hosts, have appealed to writers and thinkers to come and remember the poet and social activist who always sided with peace-loving working people across all borders.—HA
