Govt vows to punish Pole’s killers

ISLAMABAD, Feb 13: Pakistan vowed on Friday to bring to justice those responsible for killing a kidnapped Polish geologist, condemning what it called a “heinous crime and brutal act of terrorism”.

“The government of Pakistan is fully determined to bring the perpetrators of this despicable crime to justice,” the foreign ministry announced.

“The government and the people of Pakistan are outraged at the gruesome killing of

Polish national Mr Piotr Stanczak and condemn this heinous crime and brutal act of terrorism in the strongest possible terms.

“We extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the Polish nation and the members of the bereaved family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them in this hour of immeasurable grief and sorrow,” it said.—AFP
