QUETTA, Feb 9: Three ministers were inducted into theBalochistan cabinet on Monday.

Governor Nawab Zulfiqar

Ali Magsi administrated oath of office to Asfandyar Kakar and George Jaffar of the PPP and J. Parkash Naryan of the JUI-F.

With the induction of new ministers, the strength of the cabinet had risen to 50. The Balochistan assembly, it may be mentioned, has 65 members.

Sources said that former home minister Shoaib Nusherwani had also been included in the cabinet, but he changed his mind and did not come to the Governor’s House to take oath.

About half a dozen provincial ministers are still without portfolio and no announcement was made about the portfolio of the new ministers.

Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani, Speaker Aslam Bhootani, provincial ministers and senior officials attended the oath-taking ceremony.
