KARACHI, Feb 1: An academic reference for late Prof (Dr) A.H. Dani will be held at Karachi University on Feb 2.

According to an official announcement, the reference is being organised by the Institute of Central and West Asian Studies, the University of Karachi. Renowned scholars will pay tribute to Dr A.H. Dani, an eminent archaeologist.

Meanwhile, a seminar on youth entrepreneurship training will be held at the university on Feb 2.

The event is being arranged under the auspices of the faculty of management and administrative sciences of Karachi University. Sports and Youth Affairs Secretary Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, Dr M. Abuzar Wajidi and others will speak at the inaugural session of the seminar.

According to another announcement of the university, the date for submission of forms and fees for admission to MS/PhD has been extended up to Feb 7.

Meanwhile, a three-day book fair will open at the NED University of Engineering and Technology on Monday. City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal will inaugurate the event, which will continue till February 4.—APP
