GHALANAI, Jan 31: Fifty more abandoned houses of suspected militants were torched in the ongoing search operation in Lakaro tehsil of Mohmand Agency here on Saturday.
Official sources said that the joint operation of Khasadar and Mohmand Riffles continued in Kareer and Spalanai areas of Lakaro tehsil and fifty more abandoned houses of suspected militants were set on fire.
It may be recalled that Mohmand Taliban spokesperson Ikramullah Mohmand has warned the government to stop razing and torching of houses of people who have migrated to other parts of the country. Otherwise government installations will be targeted in response.
