PESHAWAR: Bifurcation

PESHAWAR, Jan 31: The NWFP government is mulling bifurcation of the technical education and mineral development department to improve their efficiency. Provincial Minister for Technical Education and Mineral Development, Nawabzada Mehmood Zeb stated this while speaking at a meeting, says a handout issued here on Saturday.

Besides others, Secretary Establishment Mian Sahib Jan, Secretary Industries Shah Wali Khan, Director General Mineral Development Mumtaz Khan Khalil and Director General Technical Education Iqbal Shad attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed matters regarding how to improve the performance of the said departments, promotion of technical education and generating economic activities in the province.
