PML-QA united under Azhar

FAISALABAD, May 14: The Pakistan Muslim League (QA) is united under the leadership of Mian Azhar and there is no tussle between any leader for capturing the top slot of the party.

This was stated by PML(QA) leaders and former MPAs Chaudhry Zaheeruddin Khan and Qamar Zaman Awan while talking to newsmen here on Tuesday.

They said the PML(QA) would field its own candidates in all constituencies for contesting the forthcoming general elections.

They said an election strategy would be announced shortly by the party central leadership. Tickets would be awarded to only those leaders having unblemished career, they added.

They claimed that the PML(QA) candidates would win by huge margins as their opponents had no courage to face the public due to their involvement in corruption.

They apprehended that in case the government allowed corrupt politicians to take part in politics, it would harm the democratic institutions.

They alleged that Mr Sharif and Ms Bhutto looted the national exchequer. Former rulers also established their states within state by violating all norms of justice, they maintained.

They claimed that the PML(QA) would launch public welfare projects after coming into power and get back the plundered money from the politicians sitting abroad.

They said the party would end the trend of ignoring workers and activists after coming into power and would announce a comprehensive policy for its workers.

Replying to a question about election alliance with any party, they said the matter would be decided by the central working committee of the party.
