HYDERABAD, Jan 25: ‘Make hay while the sun shines’ seems to be the single-line manifesto of the General Pervez Musharraf Himayat Tehrik, which has expressed ‘full confidence’ in the leadership of Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman and president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari before it is too late.

The party’s chairman Haji Abdur Razzaq Memon offered Mr Zardari ‘full support’ at a news conference here on Sunday and said that he would seek merger of his organisation into PPP after a visit to the NWFP and Balochistan.

He said that he had directed the party’s office-bearers to support the PPP.

He said that since the country was passing through a critical phase, it was necessary to strengthen the party of Quaid-i-Awam Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and his daughter Benazir Bhutto who had sacrificed their lives for the country and its downtrodden populace.

It was Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who had made Pakistan a nuclear power, Mr Memon said.
