Chinese team due today

ISLAMABAD, May 13: An eight-member Chinese team headed by Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan is arriving on a two-day visit to Pakistan on Tuesday, a foreign office press release said.

During his presence in the federal capital he will call on President Gen Pervez Musharraf and hold talks with Foreign Minister Abdul Sattar.

The press release noted that a number of mega-projects including Gwadar Seaport project, Thar coal and power plant project and the Saindak Copper and Gold-mine project are being executed in Pakistan with the assistance of Chinese government.
