HYDERABAD: Kidnap accused remanded

HYDERABAD, Jan 19: The accused in EDO health Dr Abdul Jalil Bachani’s kidnapping case were remanded in police custody by two different courts here on Monday.

Hidayatullah Solangi, Khadim Hussain Khoso, Aziz Lashari, Pathan Rind and Sher Ali Khoso were produced in Anti-terrorism Court, Hyderabad, which remanded them in police custody for seven days.

In another case pertaining to a police encounter, the accused Hidayatullah Solangi, Khadim Hussain Khoso, Yaqoob and Ibrahim were produced in the court of civil judge and judicial magistrate-VII, which remanded them in police custody for seven days.

Bachani was kidnapped on Nov 22, 2008 and freed by dacoits on Jan 10, 2009.
