KARACHI, Jan 13: Seven ships carrying containers and to load naphtha, ethanol and cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Five ships, Sinar Bintan, Global Progress, Csav Longquen and APL Dalian to unload and load containers and Sea Bulk Challenger, to offload bulk cargo berthed on Tuesday.

The ships, which departed included Cosco Global Progress, Lucky-7, APL Dalian and Sinar Bintan while Resolve, Shayan-1, Vinh Hung, Deja Bhum, Addarraq, Hadrian, Sima Sahba, Cape Negro and Blida are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 95,826 tons, comprising 36,723 tons of export cargo and 59,103 tons of import tonnage, was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: North Pole, to load ethanol, Rising Sun, to load naphtha, Ariatic Arrow, to load cement, APL Zircon, Wan Hai-307, Hyundai Admiral and Ariana, with containers.
