MULTAN, Jan 11: Dhodak Oil and Gas Condensate Plant in Taunsa Sharif, (Dera Ghazi Khan) tripped on Sunday afternoon owing to power breakdown, suspending production of LPG, natural gas and other petroleum products.
The suspension disrupted the supplies of LPG, gas and other petroleum products to various parts of the country.
A source said: “The fault has been removed and now the plant is fully functional. Such tripping is a routine activity.”
He said the pressure of the reservoirs located at Dhodak field dropped which caused emergency tripping.
When contacted, Dhodak Plant manager Daud Butt declined to comment.
