Baloch Mujahid down Usmanabad

KARACHI, Jan 6: Baloch Mujahid beat Usmanabad Union 3-0, Karachi United drew with Lal Bakhsh Memorial 1-1 and Ghani XI earned a walkover against Gulshan FC in KASB Premier League Football (PLF) underway at the CDGK Stadium on Monday.

The first match between Baloch Mujahid and Usmanabad Union turned out to be the only encounter bearing a result. Striker Naveed Raza scored the first one for Baloch Mujahid in the third minute followed by two more by their frontrunner Nadeem Baloch in the 62nd and 77th minutes.

In the other match, Karachi United held Lal Bakhsh Memorial to a 1-1 draw.

Striker Zaid Kerai scored for Karachi United in the 80th minute and midfielder Naseer Ahmed for Lal Bakhsh in the 90th minute.

Meanwhile, Ghani XI got a walkover against Gulshan FC when the latter failed to show up on time. Ghani XI were awarded three goals and as many points as a result of the walkover.
