KARACHI, Jan 5: Eight ships carrying containers and to load cement, molasses and ethanol are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing at the wharves was active where six ships were berthed during the last two days. They are: Elena, Bulk Arrow to load cement, H&H Tide, Kota Lambai, and Emirates Wafi to unload and load containers, and Swat to unload crude oil.

Sailing was active as nine ships departed during the last two days, including King Brian, Bavaria Express, Martha Russ, Lalazar, Gulf Tiger, Pacific Arrow, Asdrubal, Al-Aqeela-1, and Capriole, while Red Sea Spirit, H&H Tide, Kota Lambai, Conti Harmony, MOL Ability, Swat and Al-Sabiyah are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.124m tons comprising 54,550 tons of export cargo, including 26,055 tons of cement and 69,997 tons of import tonnage was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Estere, to load 27,000 tons of molasses, North Pole to load ethanol, Hyun Jin KS-3 to load 10,500 tons of cement, Darya Yog, with coal, Northern Harmony, APL Zircon, APL Topaz, and Cosco Lian Yung Gang, with containers.
