MIRPURKHAS, Dec 31: The court of civil judge and judicial magistrate-II on Wednesday remanded three men, who faced charges of impersonating a judge and policemen, for seven days in police custody.

Reports said that Sindhri SPO Pir Allah Rakhio arrested the three, Imam Ali alias Imamio, Shoukat Ali and Deedar Ali, on Tuesday when they were going in car.

When the SPO signalled the car top stop near the East Jamrao bridge on the Sindhri road, Imam Ali told him that he was additional judge of Hyderabad. His car had a plate inscribed with words ‘Additional Judge Hyderabad’ fixed in its front and a router on its roof, he said.

The police officer took them into custody and found a police uniform, an unlicensed Kalashnikov, two TT pistols, nine rounds and 10 bullets during search of the car.

The accused disclosed in the course of interrogation that the car belonged to one Shahmir Dars and it was snatched in the jurisdiction of Khahi police station by Imam Ali who was in police uniform at the time of arrest.
