KARACHI, Dec 29: Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) League resumes on Tuesday when Sindh Government Press (SGP) clash with Police in Group ‘A’ at the Korangi Baloch Stadium in Karachi’s Landhi Town.
It will be a crucial encounter for the Police who lost their first encounter to Pakistan Public Works Department (PPWD) on Sunday. The Police are looking for three points to stay in the race otherwise it will be all over for them.
Meanwhile, the PFF has approved three new venues for the holding of Group ‘A’ matches between the three Karachi-based teams in place of the earlier selected People’s Sports Complex in Lyari.
The Korangi Baloch Stadium will also be hosting the final match of the Group between PPWD and SSGC on Jan 16. Other stadiums to have the privilege of hosting national matches for the first time will be the Colony Sports FC ground and the Jam Eleven FC ground in Malir.

Jan 16: ELBA v PAF at Model Town Football Academy, Lahore; PPWD v SSGC at Baloch Mujahid Stadium, Karachi.
Jan 17: Railways v HEC at Railway Stadium, Lahore.
Jan 22: Semi-finals.
Jan 26: Final (the winners qualify for Pakistan Premier Football League 2009).
