LARKANA, Dec 28: President Asif Ali Zardari and his daughter Bakhtawar, accompanied by local PPP leader Dr Shafqat Soomro, visited the mausoleum of Benazir Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on Sunday night.

They spent about 15 minutes near the grave of Benazir Bhutto, recited verses from Holy Quran, laid floral wreath and offered fateha.

The president could not go to the mausoleum on Saturday because of security concerns.

Earlier in the day, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, accompanied by MNA Faryal Talpur, visited the mausoleum.

His sisters Bakhtawar and Asifa separately went to the grave of their mother.

They offered fateha and laid floral wreaths also on the graves of Z. A. Bhutto and Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Shahnawaz Bhutto.

Sindh Culture and Tourism Minister Sassui Palijo also visited the mausoleum.Among those who went to the mausoleum on Sunday included PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto along with Sindh National Front chief Mumtaz Bhutto.

They offered fateha and placed wreaths on the graves of the Bhuttos.

Their supports raised slogans against Mr Zardari inside the mausoleum.

Mumtaz Bhutto said it was surprising that Mr Zardari was hiding the names of the killers of Benazir Bhutto.

He said that the president should tell the nation that how would the arrest of the killers of Benazir harm the country.

He urged the people to stand up against the killers of Benazir and those who were hiding their names.
