Five injured in clash

SHIKARPUR, Dec 28: Five people were seriously injured in an armed clash between two groups of the Jafri community in Loung Detho village in the jurisdiction of the Garhi Yasin police station on Sunday.

The injured were identified as Loung Khan, Allah Dino, Lal Muhammad, Shaman and Ms Satbhai. The injured were sent to Garhi Yasin hospital for treatment.

The motive behind the clash was said to be a dispute over a piece of agricultural land. No FIR was registered till the filing of this report.

LOOTED: Over 50 occupants of five vehicles were deprived of cash, mobile sets and other valuables near Jahan Khan in the jurisdiction of Chak police station on Saturday night.
