JACOBABAD, Dec 25: A youth killed his mother and injured his stepmother on pretext of karo-kari in Saifal Khoso village in the Risaldar area of Kashmore-Kandhkot district on Thursday.

As Nazeeran and Shahzadi were at their home, Nazeeran’s son Ghulam Yasin arrived there and opened fire at them. As a result, Nazeeran died on the spot and Shahzadi, stepmother of Yasin, was injured.

However, no FIR was registered till the filing of this report.

Meanwhile, a man was killed in a clash between two groups of villagers in Iqbal Bijarani Goth in the Karampur area. The rival groups after an exchange of hot words traded fire as a result Shabbir Nasirani, 22, died on the spot.
