KARACHI: Special postage stamp

KARACHI, Dec 25: The Pakistan Post will issue a special postage stamp to mark the first death anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto while the Sindh People’s Youth Organisation, Karachi Division, has issued a sticker and poster to also mark the occasion.

The stamp of Rs4 denomination will be issued on Saturday (Dec 27). It has been designed by Adil Salahuddin and printed at the Pakistan Security Printing Corporation. The first day issue cover and leaflet have also been issued and will be available at major post offices across the country.

A statement released in Karachi on Thursday also announced the issuance of a sticker and poster by the SPYO. It went on to say that a caravan of the five districts of the organisation’s Karachi division will leave Sohrab Goth at 3pm on Dec 26 to attend the first death anniversary of Ms Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh. The caravan will be led by Aamir Shah, president of the People’s Youth, Karachi.
