KARACHI, Dec 24: Staying on the path of victory, St Patrick’s High School achieved six points when they beat Beaconhouse Gulshan 4-0 in the ongoing Karachi United (KU) School Championship at the DHA Stadium on Wednesday.

In the day’s other matches, Bayview High held Southshore School to a draw, DA High School edged past Generations School 1-0 and Foundation Public School beat Beacon House Jubilee 3-0.

In Group ‘B’, St Patrick’s High School, scoring two goals in each half, beat Beaconhouse Gulshan 4-0. International striker Mohammad Imran scored two while Mohammad Baloch and Salamuddin scored one each.

Scoring was opened by Mohammad Imran in the seventh minute. Mohammad Baloch scored in the 14th minute.

In the second session, Imran scored in the 43rd minute followed by Salamuddin in the 51st.

Having already scored seven goals in the tournament, Imran is now the top scorer. Mohammad Baloch is close behind with five goals.

The Group ‘A’ encounter between Bayview High and Southshore School ended in a goalless draw.

In the two Group ‘D’ encounters, DA High School edged past Generations School 1-0 and Foundation Public School beat Beaconhouse Jubilee 3-0. The decider in the first match was scored by striker Arsalanuddin in the 52nd minute.

The other match proved to bring easy victory to Foundation Public when Hamza Javed scored two and striker Mohammad Areeb chipped in one. Striker Hamza got his school ahead in the seventh minute. Hamza’s second goal came in the 40th minute and Areeb made the score 3-0 in the 51st minute.

Thursday’s fixtures: Southshore School v Bayview High School at 8.00am; Karachi Grammar School v Civilization Public School at 9.30am; Army Public School v City School at 11.00am; Lyceum v Avicenna at 12.30pm; Foundation Public School v DA Model School at 2.00pm.
