LAHORE, Dec 24: The Pakistan Wapda Hydro-Electric Central Labour Union has demanded immediate reduction in oil prices and public transport fares and construction of new powerhouses only in the public sector.
The demands were voiced through resolutions adopted at a national executive committee meeting of the union held here on Wednesday with Abdul Latif Nizamani. The union leaders were of the view that reduction in oil prices and public transport fares had become overdue because of a record decrease in prices in the international market.
