BADIN: Man dies in accident

BADIN, Dec 22: A man was killed and 23 others were injured in two separate road accidents in the district on Sunday.

Truck driver Ramoo Kolhi was killed and his cleaner Ali Gul Jumani received serious injuries when their vehicle collided with a stationary truck near Fateh Khan Chandio village near here.

The injured cleaner was taken to a Hyderabad hospital.

In another incident, a Badin-bound coach carrying Hajis and their relatives from Karachi overturned when its tie rod broke near Khorwah bus stop, 42km from here.

As a result, 22 people, including two Hajis, received injuries. They were taken to Golarchi and Badin hospitals where an emergency was announced.

Later, two of those injured, Ali Akbar Girano and Ameer Bux Girano, were shifted to Hyderabad Civil Hospital due to their critical condition.
