Netball team to get prizes

KARACHI, Dec 20: The Sindh women’s netball team, which secured gold in the eighth National Women’s Netball Championship in Faisalabad last month, will be rewarded Rs25,000.

The prize was announced by Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, Secretary of Sports and Youth Department, Sindh, on Saturday. Another prize of Rs5,000 was announced for goal-shooter Quratulain, who scored as many as 64 goals in the event and was declared the best player.

The prizes are to be awarded by Sindh’s Minister for Sports Dr Mohammad Ali Shah.—Sports Reporter
