10 injured in road accident

GUJAR KHAN, Dec 19: As many as 10 persons, including a woman and her two daughters, sustained injuries when a Rawalpindi-bound wagon collided with a truck on the Mandra-Chakwal Road near Khakrah village on Friday, police and witnesses saidThe injured were shifted to rural health centre Mandra and DHQ hospital Rawalpindi. Ms Sheraz Bibi and her minor daughters - Esha and Iqra - received critical injuries and were shifted to the DHQ hospital.

The other seriously injured identified as Mohammad Ishaq, Zafar Iqbal, Naseer Akhtar and Khalid Pervez were also shifted to DHQ hospital. The accident occurred due to speeding, the police said. —Correspondent
