Margalla fire rages on

ISLAMABAD, May 12: The fire-fighting operation on Margalla hills continued for the fifth consecutive day on Sunday.

The fire has devastated hundreds of acres of woodland in at least six different places on the hills.

The emergency police said they were coordinating with the firefighters from Islamabad and NWFP as well as those of the forest and environment departments to douse the spreading fire.
