PCB chief returns from India

LAHORE, Dec 13: Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ijaz Butt returned home from India on Saturday after attending the Asian Cricket Council’s (ACC) finance committee meeting in Chennai.

At the Lahore airport, Ijaz was averse in answering reporters’ questions on his meetings with officials of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) about the Indian team’s tour to Pakistan next month.

“I had good meetings with them [Indian cricket board officials] and I will let you know the details soon,” he said while avoiding details in this regard.—APP
