UMERKOT, Dec 13: A man was axed to death by his cousin in the jurisdiction of Kunri police station here on Saturday.
According to the FIR lodged on the complaint of Arbab Ali, brother of the deceased, Abdul Sattar Shaikh, 27, and his cousin Ali Nawaz had a quarrel, on which Ali Nawaz struck Sattar with an axe.
The injured was taken to Civil Hospital, Mirpurkhas, but succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital. The body was handed over to the heirs after autopsy at taluka hospital Kunri.
Kunri police has registered a case under Section 302 against Ali Nawaz and arrested him.
