Boat Basin police said that Younus Masih and Kamran Masih were cleaning windowpanes of a five-storey building when one of them overbalanced and fell. They said that the other cleaner tried to save his colleague when he also fell.

The bodies were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. Hospital sources said that both the victims were in their late 20s.

The police said that the victims were residents of Azam Basti, Mehmoodabad, and their bodies were handed over to their families after medico-legal formalities. They said that no case was registered as the men died accidentally.
