LANDI KOTAL, Dec 13: An explosion of mild intensity partially damaged a vehicle and the boundary wall of an army fort in Jamrud here on Saturday.

Sources said that the device, which was planted near the parking lot of the fort, went off around midday.

Jamrud political administration has registered a case against unidentified saboteurs and started investigations.

NEPALESE WOMAN ARRESTED: Border security forces at Torkhum arrested a Nepalese woman when she was trying to enter Pakistan without valid travelling documents.

Officials said that the lady was later shifted to Landi Kotal tehsil for investigations.

ARMS SEIZED: The Khasadar force foiled an attempt to smuggle arms to Afghanistan and recovered 45 Kalashnikov rifles from a vehicle at Enzari checkpost here.

The driver, Yar Hussain, was arrested.
