HYDERABAD, Dec 12: A meeting of the Pakistan People’s Party’s local office-bearers was held at a local circuit house here to finalise arrangements to commemorate the first death anniversary of the Pakistan People’s Party’s chairperson, Benazir Bhutto, on December 27.

Sindh Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination Makhdoom Jamiluzzaman, who is also the Hyderabad division president of the PPP, presided over the meeting. The meeting decided to organise a seminar at Mumtaz Mirza Auditorium on Dec 27 to highlight the services of the leader of the party. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah is expected to preside over the seminar.

All the district branches of the party have been directed to commemorate the death anniversary of Ms Bhutto with reverence and to hold Quran Khawani.

A seminar titled “From leadership to martyrdom” will also be held.
