Six injured in robbers’ panic fire

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Dec 11: Two panicked outlaws shot at and injured six people while fleeing on a snatched motorcycle in Saddar police precincts on Thursday.

According to the police, two unidentified armed robbers intercepted Ghulam Farid and Farooq and tried to snatch their motorcycle at gunpoint. The bikers put up resistance and raised an alarm, noticed by some passersby who came to their help.

The robbers, who by the time had got on the snatched bike, opened fire on those coming to rescue the two bikers, leaving six people injured.

The bikers also received some bullet injuries. The robbers fled the scene.

The injured were rushed to the DHQ hospital, from where two of them were referred to Nishter Hospital, Multan, in critical condition.
