Passengers waylaid

NAWABSHAH, Dec 11: Six bandits deprived coach passengers of cash, gold, cell phones and valuables on Thursday.

Some people embarked the Rawalpindi-bound coach from Karachi on the National Highway and held the driver and passengers at gunpoint after reaching Karimabad bus stop near Daulatpur. They dispossessed the travellers of whatever valuables they had and escaped.

Passengers, soon after held demonstration against police failure to control crimes and demanded back their looted property.
