KARACHI, Dec 8: Nasir Ahmed and Nadeem Mohammad Khan were elected president and secretary respectively of the Sindh Judo Association (SJA) during the emergent meeting of the body that was requisitioned here the other day.

The meeting, among other matters, discussed the downfall of the sport in the province and took remedial measures to redress them, says a press release.

The meeting also noted with regret that only four provincial championships were organised during the last 15 years.

All the 16 affiliated districts of Sindh participated in the meeting.

It was decided that the Sindh Judo championship will be organised in January in addition to arranging a training camp.

Office bearers:

Nasir Ahmed (president); Abdul Hameed Rajput (senior vice-president); Nadeem Mohammad Khan (secretary) and Fahim Mohammad Khan (treasurer).
