KARACHI, Dec 6: Sindh Chief Secretary Fazalur Rehman has directed the home secretary and inspector-general of police to ensure foolproof arrangements for maintaining law and order throughout the province on the occasion of Eidul Azha.

He called for formulating an effective strategy and taking concrete measures for the protection of the life and property of all citizens. He said security at and around mosques, Imambargahs, Eidgahs, shopping centres, markets and bazaars should be beefed up and patrolling intensified.—APP
