HARIPUR, Dec 6: Unidentified assailants shot dead two brothers and wounded a woman here on Saturday.

Police quoted one Ghulam Hussain of Teer village as saying that he was making tea in the kitchen at around 2.30am when four young men entered the house by scaling the boundary wall. He said that the intruders held his daughter-in-law Chand Bibi, wife of Raza Mohammad, at gunpoint and ordered the men to come out of the rooms.

As soon Raza Mohammad and Mureed came out of their rooms, the gunmen opened firing on them, killing them on the spot and wounding Ms Bibi. She was taken to the DHQ hospital from where she was referred to the Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad. The complainant, according to police, did not nominate anyone in the FIR and said that his family had no enmity with anyone in the area.
