HYDERABAD, Oct 25: A heavy contingent of police in ten mobiles including the rapid deployment force and a special squad of SSP led by the Hali Road police raided Makrani Mohalla, Panhwar Goth and Machhi Goth here on Thursday and arrested 12 alleged narcotics dealers and manufacturers of country made liquor.

SHO Hali Road police station Aijaz Tareen has confirmed the arrest of Ghulam Rasool Kashmiri, Ghulam Haider Bhiani, Pir Bukhsh Makrani, Aijaz Makrani, Abbas Makrani, Mohammad Hassan Machhi, Khalid Machhi, Abid Brohi, Lal Mohammad Panhwar, Imam Bukhsh Panhwar, Mohammad Tahir Panhwar and Ms. Gulan Machhiani.

He said that a liquor manufacturing klin, pitchers and tins of country made liquor and a large quantity of charas and heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused.
