LAHORE, Dec 5: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Secretary-General Jehangir Badr says party activists will observe Eidul Azha with simplicity to mourn the death of chairperson Benazir Bhutto.

At a press conference here on Friday, he said after performing the religious duty of sacrificing animals, Quran Khwani would be held all over the world for her.

In Lahore, he said, party activists would light candles at Data Darbar Chowk on Wednesday evening (Dec 10) to renew the pledge that they would continue the mission for which the chairperson had laid her life.

He said he would accompany party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to the United Nations for receiving the award the world body had announced for the late Bhutto.
