ISLAMABAD, Dec 5: Two persons were killed in separate incidents in Rawalpindi here on Friday, police said.
According to the police, in the first incident three persons stabbed Mohammad Nasser to death over a land dispute at Bhajnial, Westridge. They attacked him when he along with his son, student of matric, was constructing wall of his house. The attackers first engaged in exchange of harsh words with him and later stabbed him with a dagger. They escaped from the scene leaving behind the injured in pool of blood and his son in a state of fear. The injured was shifted to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
In the second incident, a man was shot dead after a scuffle with some persons over a petty issue at Jatli.
According to the police, Mohammad Tanveer was intercepted by some young men on a road and objected to the use of the road by him for reaching his destination. During the scuffle, one of the accused shot and injured him. The injured was shifted to the hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. The attackers managed to escape from the scene.
