HYDERABAD, Dec 4: Sindh Minister for Special Education Syed Ali Nawaz Shah Rizvi has said that the handicapped people are an integral part of the society and it is a social duty to help inculcate in them a sense of participation.

He said at a function at the Government Pilot School to mark the World Disabled Day on Wednesday that many disabled persons were working hard and taking care of their families. Nobody had the right to ridicule them, the minister said.

He said that 22 schools had been established in Sindh for the disabled children where 900 children were receiving education.

Sindh Minister for Minorities Affairs Dr Mohan Lal Kohistani appealed to people to demonstrate affection and acre towards the disabled children and said he was pleased to note that 25 special children who had passed matriculation from the school had landed jobs in different organisations.
