LAHORE, Dec 1: Interior State Minister Tasnim Ahmad Qureshi has said Pakistan and India will have to make a joint strategy to counter terrorism.

He was talking to media after a briefing here at FIA Headquarters on Monday by Director Azam Joiya.

The minister said miscreants present in both countries were creating problems by carrying out terrorist activities.

He said both countries were victims of terrorism which was aimed at harming the confidence-building measures initiated between the two neighbours.

He said incidents of violence in Karachi were condemnable, adding the government was taking strict measures to restore law and order in the city. He said investigation into foreign currency scam was underway and the government had zero tolerance for those who damaged the country’s economy.—APP
