Turkey supports Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Nov 30: Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan called Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Sunday and exchanged views with him on regional and global situation.

Mr Babacan lauded Pakistan’s role in fight against extremism and supported its efforts to engage India constructively.

Mr Qureshi briefed Mr Babacan on Pakistan’s relations with India in the aftermath of Mumbai terror attacks.

He said Pakistan shared India’s grief and sympathised with the families of innocent victims of the incident.—APP
