KHAIRPUR, Nov 30: A young man is reported to have committed suicide by lying on the track when the Shah Rukn-e-Alam train was due late on Saturday night. He was crushed by the train.

Mohammad Hadi Phulpoto’s relatives denied that the youngster had committed suicide and said that he was crossing the tracks when he was run over by the train.

In another incident, two brothers, Farooq Ahmed Noohani and Tariq Ahmed, were injured when they resisted armed bandits.

Reports said that the armed men forced into Noohanis’ house in Piryalio town on late Saturday late.

When the brothers resisted the robbers attacked and injured them. Both were admitted to a hospital.

Relatives of the victims demanded immediate arrest of the culprits while the DPO removed the SHO of Pirayloi police station for negligence.
